Dr. Eric Dunayer Selected as the ABVT 2023 Service Award Recipient

The ABVT periodically recognizes diplomates within the organization who make an outstanding contribution to the art and science of veterinary toxicology and/or to the ABVT organization itself.

Dr. Eric Dunayer has been involved with the ABVT exam committee in some capacity almost since the day he passed boards in 2006. He has been on the exam committee three times and is now the candidate coordinator. When he wasn’t on the committee, he helped with the ABVT review course weekend. Dr. Dunayer has helped to educate many veterinary students about toxicology at both the University of Illinois and St. Matthews University (Cayman). He has also helped veterinarians by consulting with them on the phones at the ASPCA APCC and by writing articles and book chapters.
